AOL Shield Browser is a Chromium-based browser that protects against many of the tricks that online hackers will use to steal your information.
Using the browser
When using this programme, you’ll notice that it’s incredibly similar to Google Chrome. Anyone familiar with the ease of use of Chrome can expect the same with AOL. Also, this application is compatible with most extensions making it easy to switch to using.
Security at its finest
Anti-keylogging is the first security protection offered. This function encrypts all the words you type, protecting you from hackers stealing your information. Screengrab protection keeps hackers from remotely watching your browser and stealing screenshots. Finally, any scam websites will be prevented from loading barring any potential risks.
The installation process was actually quite easy for AOL Shield. It’s not going to put a strain on most devices, which makes it a great option to look into. The only thing to watch out for is that it attempts to make itself the default internet explorer. If you want to try it out, be aware of this when installing it.
Deal or no deal
This is definitely a browser you should consider using. If you like Chrome but would love some more built-in security, this is the perfect match for you.
